QB Russell Wilson (+2.4)

– Solid, efficient game for Russell Wilson after finishing with a perfect passer rating on 27 aimed attempts (not counting two throwaways and a batted pass). He didn’t quite match Roethlisberger’s sublime deep passing (three total deep attempts), but was perfect working at intermediate distance, completing all eight passes there for 194 yard and four of his five touchdowns. This was also his second straight game without a turnover-worthy throw.

Okay let me get this straight

Rothesburger
36/55 for 65% complt, 456 yards, 8.3 ypa, 1 td 2 ints, 82.1 QB rating 5 carries 18 yards 3.6 ypa

Wilson
21/30 for 70% complt, 345 yards, 11.5 ypa, 5 tds, 1 int, 147.9 qb rating, 14 yards rushing 3.5 ypa

And Ben gets a higher PFF rating

Lets go further
Stafford
27/38 71% complt, 337 yards, 8.9 ypa, 5 tds, 137.8 Qb rating, 2 carries 13 yards 6.5 ypa

Really and he got the high score

Further

Rivers
29/43 67% complt, 300 yards, 7 ypa, 4 tds, 118.4 QB rating 5 carries 9 yards 1.8 ypa

Fitzpatrick
22/37 59% complt%, 277 yards, 7.5 ypa, 4 tds, 118.9 QB rating 5 carries, 21 yards 4.2 ypa

Hass
26/42 62% complt, 315 yards, 7.5 ypa, 2 tds, 100.8 QB rating, 3 carries -3 yards -1 ypa

Okay this is proof PFF is worthless there is no way Wilson should have the 7th best score it should be worse case 2nd and you can easily argue 1st

Wilson did not have ANY int's.

yeah thanks typo

Just for shits and giggles, what grading system do you use again to justify your arguments against Wilson's Oline and WR corps.

And what's that crappy QB rating ESPN uses, QBR? That one sucks as well and they force all their analysts to use it. That channel gets so far up its own ass sometimes

ESPN is tumbling. Losing viewers in droves. Disney stock is crashing since ESPN is their cash cow. Long ago in a Galaxy far away ESPN was the outsider and innovator. Now they are completely corporate, run by bean counters who don't really know jack about sports or the fans.

Wilson's stats are not as good because he didn't drive the team 80 yards.. he did all his damage on a shortened field.. 4/4 with 3 TD passes in the redzone doesn't count either

ahh you might want to recheck that

1st TD pass was a 24 yard drive
2nd pass td was an 85 yards drive
3rd td pass 39 yard drive
4th TD pass 73 yard drive scoring pass 30 yards
5th td pass 80 yard drive scoring pass 80 yards

Hmm so lets see that 3 drives over 70 yards. Since when is 70+ yards a shortened field. Also since when does throwing a td pass when your in the red zone not count? Just to show you how stupid that is

Stafford through 5 tds he was rated higher than Wilson yet 4 of his tds came in the redzone and I Can go on its crap

Hope the slide into the red continues. Never go to their website, hate all their talking heads. ESPN sucks.

Poor attempt at sarcasm... my fault.. i thought that it would be picked up on at the foolishness about 4/4 in the RZ w/ 3 TD passes.. i will be sure to use many emoticons in the future.

Team was 4/4 in the redzone-- 16yd TD to Baldwin, Two TD to Kearse were RZ TDs and the Rawls TD run was a RZ TD. 4/4.. other two TDs were the long ones to ADB..

Someone in a different thread downplayed RWs success due to a shortened field (getting picks by the D instead of driving 80yds)..

Not much you can do, some people would rather point out the negative, when clearly the way Russ played was very positive.

i completely agree.. I have been happy with the way he has played in 9/11 games (rams and cards are the only crap games IMO)..

Just seems like he is much more focused lately. And only sacked 6 times in 4 games is pretty solid. Though a lot of it is his running around for his life and avoiding sacks
