Can you be more specific on what you mean? You would rather have 1:20 left and 3 timeouts on a drive than 2 minutes and 2 timeouts?

Why would you rather be in a situation where you need to play in a rush rather than play a more relaxed style?
They were near midfield up 10-0. Minnesota has been playing very aggressive on D. They got the ball with about 45-50 seconds to go and a full three timeouts. That was plenty of time to get into FG range and leave little or no time left on the clock. They did just that, though the FG attempt was longer than any of us would have liked. 13-0 Hawks at the half, and a rookie QB on Minny going against a very good defense in the 2nd half trying to catch up, and that's assuming we don't score again.

I like those odds.

All things considered, I think I like Meyers with a longer FG attempt rather than a shorter one.
