It looks like we have the best secondary. Eagles look to have the best DL, but Texans seem like the best front 7.
Denver looks like the most consistent, we tend to have peaks and valleys. But the Texans are a close #2 there.

After today the Seahawks have to go from elite to bet the under. They let the worst team in football go up and down the field in the second half.

Not really bub. It was garbage time they went for it on every fourth down and got their only touchdown for 3 and a half quarters on a fluke 90 yard punt return. We packed their fudge and let up off the gas a little too early but they took care of business and chalked up their 8th win. I sniff a Lombardi

Seahawks defense is very good. Top 5 but they could even be better if they created turnovers. This team isn't very good at ballhawking or creating turnovers on a consistent basis. LOB did that consistently. There are no Sherman, Maxwell, Thomas, and Kam type of ballhawking DBs on this team. As good as Spoon is, he isn't a ballhawk. If they can figure how to do that, then this defense can be on the LOB level. It's what the Rams do very well.

I think that’s fair. That’s what is keeping them from being the #1 defense in the league. They have the dogs, the talent, the coaching and scheme. What they lack is that killer instinct, ball hawking that suffocates their opponent on every single down.

The LOB was special that way. Swarming defense to the point of absurdity. We are not there yet. We may never be there only because that was perhaps a once in a lifetime defense we got the pleasure to behold.

That doesn’t mean we can’t be damn good. In fact, We are damn good. Just not quite there yet. I guarantee you it’s keeping Mike up at night that we are Top 6 and not #1 like his Ravens Defenses were.

Maybe another year or so and we will be.

Today was a clear indicator that we are not LOB level. We could have destroyed that team and yet we let them hang around. That’s the difference between good and great and LEGENDARY.

In all fairness… we were down 5 LB, A safety (Love), and our starting Center.. then there’s Bradford. Dude couldn’t block a blind man in a wheelchair from sacking Darnold.
