I did watch this today. It wasn't bad, Skip basically said that we are forming our own luck by the freak plays on defense and special teams - stating that the stadium makes that possible. Nice that Smith was not there today so they could have those ridiculous back/forth debates. The rest of the panel reminded them that we have a great running game, great play/action, and a QB that they believe will not have a sophomore slump - Skip was a bit convinced that Russel would slip a bit this year. Skip was actually somewhat sane this morning for some reason. Overall, the conversations morphed to "The top 3 teams in the NFC are SF, ATL, and SEA" - then the obligatory GB statement was made, and they purposely kept them out of the discussion of top 3. It seemed like the panel more or less believed that the Seahawks would be a wildcard again - but Skip went on record to say to look out for Arizona (which I tend to mildly agree with- they could steal a few wins in our division - their D is playing well so far).

Our entire division is going to be nasty, which worries the hell out of me.

Which is why the Patriots piss me off so much. Above average team in a crappy division for 10 years = always in the playoffs with home field advantage. While we're going to have to fight for our lives every year for the foreseeable future.

Ironically we made the playoffs at 7-9 a few years back but I see what you're saying.

Skips comments is something you hear from a casual fan. I'm sick of him of bringing that RG3 excuse against the team. For a guy that is a fan of Tebow, how can he believe Wilson would have a slump when he is such a believer in Tebow?

Vilifying these clowns on Dot Net doesnt equal higher ratings for them.

Of course it does.

The reason? Because it won't just be this site. He'll say something about the Panthers and their fans will kick off. He'll say Tom Brady is past it and Tebow should start and the Pats fans will start a thread on their forum.

His job is to be talked about as much as possible. Any publicity is good publicity. And those who complain about him get reeled in like a great big fat carp.

The best thing to do is just ignore Skip Bayless. I mean, who cares what he thinks? Why does it bother you? Let him say what he wants. It makes no difference what so ever.
