IMO I would rather the Saints win that division and let the Panthers have the tougher road.

I want the Saints and Panthers to split. That becomes a lot liklier if the Saints win tomorrow evening.

The underlying question is obviously: who would we rather face at home in the playoffs?

Defense travels well, so that's the argument for not wishing to face the Panthers. Then again, our pass defense against the kitties at Century Link...

Elite QB in the playoffs is always dangerous, shellacking last Monday notwithstanding. Hasselbeck had the game of his life against the Saints (okay at home) in the Beast Mode game. And Hass had been having a season to forget.

As to which team would give me more satisfaction beating at home in the playoffs, that's a close one also. The Saints got way too much love during the run-up to the Monday night game, but that's all vanished, plus we've already had the fun of beating them in Seattle in the playoffs.

I can't decide, so I'm going with: we'll wipe the field with either at home.

Edit: Brees is pretty classy and Newton still pisses me off with his little wiggle and cute pointing after a first down, so in that case I'd rather ruin his day in the playoffs.

When it comes to who we face, I really don't care. Both are worthy teams, but I believe we beat both (and have beaten both). That said, Seattle's path becomes even easier if NO and Carolina split so that's what I'm looking for (to the playoffs I mean).

Both are looking pretty strong, no preference really.

Seattle to win first and foremost

Want the Saints to win tomorrow. The Panthers need some wind taken out of their sails.

I'd like to see the Saints win just so I know the Panthers are beatable, but I'm picking the Panthers tonight.

Saints. Depending on how many more games we win, I probably want the Panthers to win the next matchup. Split the series and give us the best chance of HFA.

The Panthers can travel and win tough, grind-out games. I'm definitely rooting for N'awlins.
