What consistutes as 5yd penalty and 10

I thought so, but there's times ill hear them say 10 yrd penalty automatic 1st down or something, so it always confuses me if there's an addental factor that decides it.

The only thing I can think of is lining up directly in front of the long-snapper on a kick. Not sure what the penalty is, though.
