Both Red and Max are out due to the concussion protocol. I doubt we'll know their true status before Friday

Clemons didn't practice but it wasn't injury related

Coleman is still not ready to come back and isn't expected back anytime soon

Jordan Hill did not practice with what is listed as a biceps injury. Not sure how serious it is, but I'm sure we'll hear more as the week moves along

Lynch was his standard LP self today. I believe he did the walk through but didn't do the full practice. Listed as knee, but Pete said that today was his day to be rested.

Giacomini is back at practice and was listed as a limited participant. Sounds like he will likely not be ready this week, but it's good to see he's out there practicing

Johnson is also practicing this week. He was listed as a full participant today.

As per usual, the Wednesday report doesn't really mean alot. It's best to wait til friday's report and Pete's friday presser to get a better idea of which injuries are an issue for the upcoming game.

Okung practiced but it isn't listed cause he isn't on the active roster.
Worth noting

Okung can't be activated until after the Atlanta game. Per NFL rules for return IR, he has to miss 8 games, and Atlanta will be the 8th game.

Yes, Okung did practice at least in some capacity. Harvin worked out but did not practice. Neither will be on the list until they are activated.

Pretty awesome that we only have Okung out for one more game, potentially. Can't wait to get that guy back.

Jeron Johnson's return (at least to full participation in practice) is no insignificant thing. In addition to being a plus special teams player, JJ is a big part of the Hawks' sub packages, particularly as an occasional blitzer in dime sets, and has proven quite effective in that role. We could certainly use him against Matt Ryan.

Looking at the game... Power and Traps kill us right now. I do think vin.couve is right in regards to Mebane's absence having a major impact. McDs just don't demand or disrupt double teams like Mebane does and that frees up interior lineman to seal off running lanes away from them and double team other players. Mebane is good at closing cutback lanes, controlling gaps, disrupting double teams and freeing up other defensive players around him to make plays. He might not be a huge stat monster, but he's an integral part of this defense. I was hoping we'd get Jesse Williams to start grooming behind Mebane this year, as I think he has similar physical abilities, but??? Hopefully, our front will get healthy and have things back together after the bye. Same can be said for our offense.

Bryant, Coleman, Hill and Unger still no practice for them, but not surprising.

Clemons was back at Full Participation today

Giacomini was still at limited participation today. I imagine he's being worked back slowly

Chancellor was added as a limited participant today with the reason listed as Ankle. I am sure it will be fine but will know more tomorrow for sure

Lynch and Johnson were both full participants

Bryant, Unger, Coleman & Hill are all OUT

Giacomini is DOUBTFUL

Johnson is QUESTIONABLE

Clemons, Chancellor & Lynch are all PROBABLE

Chancellor had the only practice participation change of the bunch. He was Limited yesterday but was a Full Participant on Friday
