Well, they claimed that McCaffrey was questionable, and he owned us yet again. I'll believe the Niners are broken when I start seeing them lose some games. Easiest schedule in the league.

Losing Kittle is huge though. He's a ridiculous football player.

Sunday we saw Kittle, Trent Williams, Jennings and Fred Warner leave the game with injuries. Purdy and CMC have shown up on the injury report too. Shame to lose that game, but I don't see them lasting long enough to win the division.

Back to the LOB days. Whether we won or lost, it was common to see teams needing two to three weeks to recover from playing us.

Give Shanahan some credit, though. During his time there, the Niners have been the most injured team in the league, or ant least top five, and it’s not just due to success/ long seasons/ not enough off season time to recover IMHO.

For the most part, I'd say we have better depth though. We're thin at WR and LB, but everywhere else our next man up isn't a huge drop off. We're also younger which helps.
