Good grief. We were one game back. Tiebreakers don't mean much if you win more games.

Looking at the schedule, we're almost through the worst part of ours before December. Even then, we get 3 home division games. Meanwhile, SF hasn't played their most difficult opponents yet IIRC.

We were never out of it.

This is true. I really want a W in SF here, I think we can do this.

I agree if we win 10-11 games this year, We'll most likely make the playoffs, weather that's as a division champ or not.

A win Thursday would put us in the driver's seat. IMO I think this becomes a 2 horse race over the next 2 weeks. I see AZ falling back, Kolb went down with injured ribs, there QB Situation is still the weakest in the league.

If the Seahawks can end the season with a 4-2 division record (Win Thursday and hold court at home) then I think Seattle will have a great shot at winning the division.

To me the most important think is to win at home. If we go 8-0 at home than we'll most likely make the playoffs.

Gotta feel good because the defense has been good all along, but
the offense is on the come.

Triggerman is all important and Wilson is improving by leaps each game.
You get the feeling that no environment or situation is going to be too big for him.

Still thinking that the two wildcard teams could be from this division .

At least one will be from the nfc north no doubt. GB/Mn/Ch

I wondered if two wildcards had ever come from the same division and found this: (at this link http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/2224811 )

As recently as 2007, two wild card teams have come from the same National Football League division. That season it happened in both conferences. In the American Football Conference's South Division, Jacksonville and Tennessee qualified as wild-card teams. In the National Football Conference's East Division, the New York Giants and Washington qualified as wild cards.

Pretty crazy! Here's to it happening again this year!

AZ has a good defense but every one of the wins have been extremely lucky and i dont see them geting a wildcard in a competitive nfc. rams...uh no. either way i feel pretty confident both the 49ers and seahawks are gana make it to the postseason. i see a team from the north geting a wildcard unless another team turns their team around
