I don’t see this dude having a coordinator job again after what could be a failed stint in Chicago.

Crazier stuff has happened.

Once that so called generational talent flamed out, Waldron will be forgiven.

So far, that lack of accuracy in throwing long balls, is on the QB, not on OC.

A little off topic but AR (Colts) has a reverse problem.. He can nail long but not
much else.

So true, but AR was billed as a high risk project. Williams was marketed as that ready in day one generational talent. Waldron may not be that good, but the Bears will fire him as that sacrifice lamb to protect their investment in Williams.

I agree Toffee. But, part of me thinks that Waldron IS going to be the fall guy here.

Easier to blame everything on an OC rather than your organizations coveted pick.

If I were the GM, ownership of the Bears, I would definitely use Waldron as that fall guy, doing that will keep the fans happy and helps ticket sales.

Off topic but how do you think the Cleveland Browns feel about now? They draft a real gritty QB in Baker Mayfield, only to get impatient after 4-5 seasons , trade him for a Subway gift card, bring in massage-boy and give him a fully guaranteed contract 😆

I am thankful to be a life long Seahawk fan.

I feel bad for Stefanski, good coach with an inept organization.

Coaches take these jobs with perennial losing organizations knowing the odds are stacked against them. It has to be for the money. Carolina, Jacksonville, Cleveland
and others
Yes and no. If they stay out of a job too long they aren't viewed as valid candidates anymore. They can either take a job with a bad team or take a demotion to be on a good team. It's a game of musical chairs.

Shane, is quietly having a good season. Maybe it was Carroll holding him back.

Caleb starts hitting open receivers, and suddenly, the Bears offense works.

For perspective their 4 wins have came against teams with one win. they are playing a last place schedule. Lets see how he does the remainder of the way which looks brutal. Only the Patriots and possibly against us depending on if we get our defense fixed looks winnable.

Shane has always been a good coordinator but he isn't a great coordinator because he tends to put himself in a rut when it comes to red zone play calling. Ironically he should do more misdirection and shifts in the red zone. I have been watching the Falcons and Bucs this season and that is what they are doing in red zone.
