Oh shucks, we're not going to receive any more highly enlightening commentary on how Collins is the greatest 3rd down back option the franchise has ever seen.

Very happy Swoopes made it back to us. He's exactly the kind of player that practice squads are for IMO.

......... key signing IMO ..... :D
I agree. With Graham, Vannett and Willson ahead of him, he didn't have a lot of chance to make the 53. Hopefully, he doesn't get snatched up by somebody else. Looks like he could have a real future.

I don't believe Rubin had to go through waivers, therefore he became a FA as soon as the Hawks cut him. He will probably catch on with someone after the rosters settle a little bit.

Someone correct if wrong.

Don't be surprised if the Seahawks resign Rubin for week two, the same could be said for Reece. If a veteran plays in week one his yearly salary is guaranteed. Cut him and resign them after week one then they only have to pay them for the weeks they are on the roster. It is quite possible to see Rubin back on our team for a reduced rate if he goes unclaimed. A similar thing happened last year with Tufuafu

True, similar situation but Tuba may be getting long in the Tufe..

What's the chance we bring Tony McD back in?

We are not going to keep 6 RBs on the 53 for very long. We are also a little light with the amount of DL with 8.

My guess is that if/when TL gets back to good then McK gets cut, a DT gets added, and the roster gets back to a more normal DL number and a better-balanced number between O and D.

We have an historic front 4 pass-rush but another Tuba-like rock of a run-stuffer in the middle would add a lot, even SR will be best off with some breathers.

I like Big Amigo's game too but I think it's a long shot for Tony McD to return. He's, what, 6'7" and
a pure 3 tech and what's needed is a pure 1 tech or a 1-3 tech to replace Rubin.
Could happen though and it wouldn't be the worst thing IMO.

^ thanks, forgot how much of a fire-hydrant Tuba is, relative to T McD.
