So, JS has blown up the Offense. How’s everyone feeling about this?

Personally, I’m struggling to see any light at the end of the tunnel.

Good thing the Defense might still be good.

It'll be an entirely different offense but that's not bad. In Grubb's defense, if you hand an OC an offense with DK, Lockette and JSN as your three main receivers, you're gonna try to play to your strengths.

No one is going to say our receiver room is the offensive strength anymore. Hello, run-first offense.

love IT!!! It needed to happen. Geno, average when all things are considered. DK? overrated for what he wanted as a new contract and his somewhat limited skillset. We were never going to pay him 5/150.

Fantastic. This is how I felt about finally letting Pete go. Old and middle of the road forever. The goal is to win a super bowl not be 54% for the next for 4 years overpaying for an above average QB and way overrated receiver by many. Time for a new direction and idea, the Eagles have shown the diagram.

Lockett cap hit was crazy huge, Geno wanted wayyyyyyy to much money.. Same goes with DK. Happy for all their contributions over the years, but this is what was needed. Hoping tyler can come back with a lower hit now, but hell yeah I'm happy with the way it unfolded. I really wish the best to dk and geno. On to the next chapter!

I’ve been high on our offense the past two years and got
Zero return on that investment. Maybe blowing it up is what we need?

Of all the moves, I really wanted DK to stay. His drops were frustrating but he was doubled constantly and there's only a couple other guys with his size that can line up at every spot. I really wanted them to figure out a new contract. Geno seems like once Pete got hired he was gone, nothing JS can do at that point. Lockett was essentially a decoy and I don't blame him for wanting more to do, he was never going to stay at that price point.

Expectations for offense are tempered. A genuine effort needs to be spent on the OL to be better. JS cannot go into yet another year with a bottom 3 group, especially after freeing up all this cash. If he signs a bunch of fringe body camp players to starting $$$ rather than getting 1-2 solid IOL I will be very frustrated. K9 and Charbs will likely be tasked with carrying the offense, signing Darnold makes sense to play point guard in a system he knows.

If they get Dalman and Fries it was an epic job by Schneider. they now have a ton of money and a ton of picks in a Dline and Oline heavy draft. If they nail the draft, this team just became the bully

I'm surprised at the reactions. I thought I would be near alone in loving the crap out of this. Geno and DK were always way overrated by this board and Lockett should have retired after 2023. All together, we were set to pay huge salaries to mid players, all to have a sub mid offense yet again.

Now JS has 1 clear job and all the assets to it - fix the frigging OL already! There's no PC to blame his failings on this time. If we don't have a top-12 OL by the end of 2025, JS needs to go.

It'll be kinda funny if JS finally fixes the OLine now that we don't have a viable starting QB and only 1 good receiving threat, lol.

I feel like it would've been pretty neat to have a good OLine to go along with a solid QB and some good receivers as opposed to having a good OLine instead of those things.

More cap space and more picks is great, but we've also got more holes to fill, and those additional holes are pretty big ones.

I guess ultimately I'm just a bit stunned all of this stuff actually happened despite knowing it was very possible, and maybe even likely. It's probably going to take more than 1 off season to rebuild an offense when you take this many steps backwards.
