Couldn't happen to a nicer fake fraud of a human being than Meyer.

Can't wait for all the stories that are going to come out over the next couple of weeks of what a terrible coach and person Meyer is now that he's gone.

It's still amazing to me how a lot of these old school guys don't get that what they do can SO SO easily make it's way into the media these days. Social, or otherwise. See also, politicians, actors, etc.

When you've lived your entire privileged life with no consequences for any of your statements or actions, then you think you're not only never wrong, but bulletproof.

Meyers helped cover up all of Aaron Hernandez's issues at Florida, he covered up his assistant coaches domestic abuse allegations even after the wife asked him for help. Then he faked a medical condition when the crap hit the fan at Ohio State.

Hell, he has players going back to his Bowling Green days that say he was an abusive coach.

But that's the difference, you can bully college kids, they have no power or platform to fight back. You can't do that with grown men in the NFL. They do have the power, wealth and readily available media to fight back.

Even now Meyers says it wasn't his fault, NFL players are too soft. Blah blah blah. Lack of self awareness and accountability. Hard to get to the NFL as a coach without either..........but damn it, Meyer did it.

Percy Harvin was another one of Meyer's pupils at Florida, and we all know how he turned out.

Excellent point. I was wondering if Harvin was at Florida during the Meyer era there. I've shared my opinion before that Harvin checks lots of boxes for having a Cluster B personality disorder (Borderline, most likely) with a high degree of sociopathy. Urban Meyer, same, except he checks the boxes for Narcissistic Personality Disorder, with high sociopathy.

Narcissist + Borderline = Soul Mates in a Male/Female relationship. So it's likely there was special "chemistry" between Meyer and Harvin at Florida, kindred spirits. Recall that, in a fit of "toddler rage", Harvin grabbed his position coach by the neck and threw him down, but seemed to face very few or no consequences for his actions. If Urban Meyer was the one responsible for consequences, it's no wonder that it was swept under the rug.
