I'm actually a big fan of the new white NOLA helmets. Similarly, I think the white LSU helmets are 1000% better than the yellow ones (and, yes, it's yellow, NOT gold).

Are all colors used for sports uniforms.
Athletic Gold is what LSU uses but they call it “LSU Gold”
That color in the printing /screen printing, and embroidery industry is widely used as, or called “Gold”.
Having said that, looks like a shade of yellow to me also.
I’ve always thought the Saints have one of the better looking kits
I like all of the new white helmets. Vikings, Saints, Bengals, Browns, Broncos, Packers.
Just a nice clean look.

When I went to London in 2018 to watch the Seahawks-Raiders, we saw at least one person wearing a uniform jersey from all 32 NFL teams. Many of them told us that the only reason they bought the jersey and became fans of the team was because they liked the uniform. They knew nothing else about the team and barely understood the game itself.
I'm sure I'm not telling anyone something that they don't already know, but all of these different unform combos is part of the league's marketing strategy, especially for the international market.

lol, you're totally right, I just love jerking Louisiana fans' chains. I lived in South Louisiana for several years in the early 2000's and it always got them going. "Oh yeah, that's gold alright. Just like Notre Dame, Washington, Georgia Tech, Purdue, Tulsa, UCLA...just like those guys, right??"
