this is getting kinda ridiculous. the way SF is playing, will really can't afford to lose a game at this point. I just hope ATL's D line is as bad as their fans are saying. I hope Russ has his head on a swivel.

It looks like we're getting both our tackles back, almost surely Red and Unger back, and from Pete Carroll's comments it also looks like Harvin will all be making their debuts next week.
In short, the 'hawks have to survive for one more week. I think they can.

My gut and the reports on Breno, Russ and (hopefully) Harvin tells me that things are going to start swinging back in our team's favor on the injury front after this week. The team is due for it. Unfortunately that won't help with this game v. Atl.

This OL would make any DL look all world. Nolan is a master of the blitz, and his current DL gives him even more reason to do so. Fans can wank all they want about Unger's shakey shotgun snaps and susceptibility to bull rushers, but when he's in our overall blitz pickup is noticeable better, as is pass pro. We go from below average to horrendous with him out.
On another note, I agree with giving Bailey more reps. He's shown well with every opportunity so far, and HOW can he do any worse than Ginger?
