6 Games... 10 receptions, 70 yards... falling down like he does to save his body (can't blame him) 6 of those receptions...

But people here thought he should have "waited for a contender" Tyler is clearly smart..

Funny speculation (my take), could Me3 be next to rejoin the band? I know the story of how Russ wanted PC & JS fired, that's why it's pure speculation.
But before the dust settles in Raider's land, Pete will have Seahawks 2.0 being built.

Lol, but honestly I can’t see Pete reintroducing Russ as a backup to Geno as he a. Traded for Kenny Pickett as the backup and b. Drafted their qb3 in the sixth round.

Trying to think of other ex-Seahawks who could end up with the Raiders. Tre Flowers still kicking around?

In his defense, the leading receiver for he Titans only has 290 yards on the season, ranking 63rd, just below Kupp. It's not like he's in a juggernaut of an offense.

The smart play may be to stack up some yards it Geno (since they have a good connection) in hopes of being picked up by a contender next year.

Raider fans are not enthused over the signing and even less enthused with Pete:

This kid should be playing every down. Its not Thornton's fault that Geno is the new Garopablow and can't/will not throw beyond 10 yards. What a waste because this kids size/speed/strength is off the charts.
Pete has literally destroyed every aspect of this team even more so then its already been (how thats even possible i have no clue). Literally every single one. It's exactly why he needs to go and i don't care if it's tomorrow but it better be by or at the end of the year.

The Steelers are signing MVS as he’s caught passes from Rodgers for years. And that’s exactly what tyler has going for him with Geno.

What a nepotistic shit show they are. Stone Forsythe, Geno, Lockett, Jamal Adams. just lol
Comes down to comfort for people. Pete likes comfort and pulling the wool… so he dupes the below average talent to signing (save Tyler) while they all ride it out. Raiders are awful. I’m shocked Tyler went back to him but, easy money.

He just wants to play football. He said as much on his way out of here.

Kind of pains me to see him go there though. I have a lot of respect for the guy.
I get what you’re saying but why go from the Titans to the Raiders? I know you’re not in his decision making process (or maybe you are 🤔). I’d argue he downgraded.

But, dude was a monster for us. Top 20 guy for me in franchise history for sure.

Having to learn offensive coordinator Chip Kelly’s scheme, there’s not necessarily a timeline for Lockett to start contributing on Sundays. He’s played only 190 snaps so far this season, recording 10 catches for 70 yards in seven games. He had 49 receptions for 600 yards with two touchdowns for the Seahawks last year.

I’m going to need more days, as far as immediately [to see] how much he can help. But he’s a tremendous football player,” head coach Pete Carroll said in his Wednesday press conference. “He’s got great background, great savvy play-making ability, a real natural sense about understanding how to play the game. He and Brock [Bowers] and Jakobi [Meyers] share a lot of characteristics in how they play the game and how they make things happen and make it look effortless at times.

”And so, [Tyler] Lockett has been a great performer historically, and I’m thrilled to have him part of the program. I want to see how fast we can move the thing along, see if he can contribute.”

That doesn’t sound like a winning endorsement at all.
