At the moment, Booker would be my pick at 18, but I think we know that won't be the pick. BTW, profiling a zone blocker likely won't improve upon what we have.
This is a weaker than average draft with only a handful of blue chip players & 40- 50 solid prospects.
I think defense (DT, DE, DB's) and OT on offense are the strength of this draft.
So if, (I mean when) JS passes on Booker and all other O-Linemen at #18, he would be better off to take an OT in the 2nd to convert to OG.
This is a tricky draft, the kind where a dick-around trade down, pet project or two could leave us holding an empty bag once again.
Our best bet considering our draft impediment, would be to make some deep cuts & sign a couple of proven FA offensive lineman to solve it.
But you can't throw $ at a problem to fix it... dontcha know.
I wouldn't get your hopes up.
