NFL pre-season starts next week with the hawks just over 2 weeks out.

Realistically, it's time for me to switch from a Mariners' watch to a Seahawks watch... even though the Hawks are just about to start TC.

This happens every year about this time because of the lack of heart/commitment of the Mariners' players, coaches, management and owners. They collectively come short.

I am so sick and tired of the repetitious nature of having to accept Mariners' failure upon failure every year... and I've been a Mariners fan for almost 45 years.

I'm sick of it.

Yep. The M's are just a bridge to football season. MOST years. Shoot, they've been a team since 77.........5 playoff appearances. That's pathetic.

Only because of so many injuries to Pukeston. They are a much better team than Seattle.

That's their shtick.

Invest enough to be paper tigers for a few months, do some dumb promos (hot dogs from the sky, fireworks, star wars night) to lure chumps to games, and then fizzle out at the all-star break. It's been the same charade for decades. Not sure how people think it's ever going to change, haha.

Tied for first and they clearly don't care about getting better. Amazingly bad franchise. One game in person was good enough for me this year. And I got the tickets and parking for free. It won't change, they refuse to do what it takes. They flat out don't care.

Oh years ago...I've been to maybe a handful in my entire life. Even in the Kingdome. Random Weird Fact: I was at an M's game when I found out Michael Jackson died. Everyone around me started checking their phones.
