Dilfer and Steve young spent about 20 minutes trying desperately to use this one game to summarize our whole season the other night. Pretty sad when all you can get is a pair of ex niners feining unbiased commentary to make their vaunted niners look good with a national audience.

Young's been doing exactly this since being hired by ESPN. Great post man and nice to see others are aware of what a Whiner homer he is. As for Dilhole, I tuned him out years ago.

Probably because Hasselbeck rolled through Seattle, picking up fans like a giant snowball, and Dilfer didn't put enough stickum on his personality, and couldn't crack the likability lineup with the majority of the Seahawks fans, AND, smartassing said fans will only fester.

I don't understand why an analyst of the QB position has to have been a great QB himself? I could see a guy who failed as an NFL QB have a bit more insight into what it takes to be successful. That being said, I have no issue with people saying Dilfer is a bit of a Niner homer. I think he is too. And would anyone really expect Steve Young not to have some Niner bias?

I still think Dilfer is a pretty good analyst overall. And I do believe he does watch a lot of film in preparation for his job.

Dilfer tries so hard at being an analyst because he knows he isn't great at anything else. He'll never be in the elite category so he's trying to make a name for himself in other ways. Not trashing the guy, but he wasn't a very good QB at all.

Anyway, Dilfer has never really bothered me, he says annoying ish sometimes, but he has also showed the hawks love here n there...I dunno I think all these media guys are tired of Seattle fans, because the second they say something bad about the hawks, all there social media accounts get blooooown up haha I love us.... GO HAWKS

I live in the bay area yes, but not in San Francisco. And I have never heard anyone say "mid-cal". There is no mid-cal. There is only Norcal and Socal. Maybe you up north want to distinguish yourselves from San Francisco by saying that, which I understand. Everybody but San Franciscans want to distinguish themselves from San Francisco lol.

Plus, in my experience, those from Humboldt County always say they are from Humboldt County. Its the only place where I have heard people say they are from so and so county.
