JS turns 4 picks into 8 players in the 2026 draft. Not a bad haul, either. Frankly, after he used our #1 pick on Price, I thought it would be difficult to turn the 3 remaining picks into that many players, but he did it. Used at least 1 2026 pick to jump into Round 5 and snag Beau Stephens to add to the OL room, don't know if he did more of that.

Still, a good haul. :)

I think he just traded back on the other picks. I tried to keep up with them. A great haul.

Yep, he traded back every time except for Stephens. Given the strength of the present roster the late picks were to ensure he snatched up good player as the UDFA market might have been skinny.

My only negative thought was no young edge rusher was drafted, but that will be fixed with an experienced FA player signing. Given how they picked perhaps this was the plan all along.

And every pick was methodical.
I know there are a lot of people here that are scratching their heads about a pick or two, (including myself) but after pondering on it for a while, with having 8 players instead of the original 4, John increased his odds for success astronomically.
What with all his pre-draft scouting teams' input, I don't know how anyone could challenge any of these picks.
NOW comes the Undrafted free agents!

Hard to believe it took this long to finally give John executive of the year this year. It really wouldn't surprise me to see the league adapt some new rule curtailing draft trades, like only one trade by a team per draft day or some BS.
I could see it called the Schneider rule, to keep the Seahawks from making the legacy teams look bad. Wouldn't be the first Hawk related rule change or Seahawk suppression we've experienced.
Never mind my rant. I'm just bracing myself for the NFL league office to introduce flag football and wonder how long Goodell can stomach MM's defense altering desired matchups or crippling fantasy stats.

I just hope we can win a couple more SB's before this $50M super model QB league goes full blown powderpuff.
I miss the days of Mel Blount, Kenny Easley, Lawrence Taylor and the Marlboro man.

Logan Fano was right there in the 7th round with our final pick and he went Eastern. smh.
