Because the defenders are there when he gets the ball. Kind of hard to run when the defense has the jump on you.
So then what about Charbs? When the defense is on him he blows em up. Hits the hole instantly goes. Walker literally waits and dances around before even attempting to move

I have K9 in my fantasy team and Zach on the bench, looks like I might swap next week. (My opp has JSN so hoping for running TDs).

Charbs is getting basic dive plays. K9 is getting sweeps and a screen.

Doesn't matter if it's the plays or the Back...Charbs is working, K9 is not.

How people cant see walker is getting hit in the backfield is beyond me. Kubiack is being predictable running the ball on 1st and 2nd downs. Niners are stacking the box. This is on Kubiack, not walker.
I think a lot of fans automatically see the result of a play versus the execution of the play.

Point is regardless of play, Charbs gets the ball and doesn’t wait, he GOES. Walker gets it and immediately hesitates and dances before even moving. Just F’n run Don’t wait for the defenders to close in just F’n go. Walkers got the damn yips

Hard to dance when you're getting hit as soon as you get the ball. 🙄

Definitely agree that Charbs is more north/south. But Kubiak is switching the blocking scheme up when K9 is in.

They have to be careful of becoming predictable based on personnel.

SF isn’t ‘falling’ for it.

If you actually watch the plays you realize walker is getting hit on running plays immediately. Your just saying what you want to believe instead of making a comment on reality. If him getting hit immediately has to do with 9ers know the plays when he is in is a different story, it does look plausible

The package of plays for K9 is being defended better. It doesn't matter if it's the player or the plays. That's for the film room next week. For now, lean on Charbs cuz it's working better.
