I feel better about picking Cincinnati to win the AFC now. They have as good a defense as the Chiefs, but with an actual offense on top of it. Even Andy Dalton is good enough to get that team through this year's AFC.

Yeah, but there are more teams that are at least "Very good" in the NFC than in the AFC by a sizable margin.

The Colts and Chiefs aren't good. Denver is the only "great" team in the AFC. The Bengals are pretty good. The Colts and Chiefs are "better than mediocre."

The Pack, Saints, Bears (if Cutler is healthy), Lions, Seahawks, and 49ers are all at least "very good."

My criteria for the reams I chose is consistency. Lions pack and bears I don't think are constant enough.
