Enjoying a life sentence in the Clink.
For the 4th or 5th time in the last couple years I had the great (dis) pleasure of explaining to "seahawks fans that paid good money for their tickets" that you shouldn't get loud when the opposing fans get loud. I guess it's better than last year ?? Where a Seahawks "fan" wanted to fight me because "it wasn't fair that the opposing fans could make noise on offense and I said he couldn't".

How the mighty home field advantage has fallen.

Just let the Thousands of people on the blue "pride" waiting list take your reseller $$$ already if you don't want to be a dedicated fan...

Yep. I've been on the waiting list for over a decade. Pisses me off so bad watching current season ticket holders just collecting money selling to opposing teams fans meanwhile our own fans can't even get off the waiting list.

They feel like they paid their dues and it is time to cash in. Crazy how people lose the script.

I eat the cost of my tickets before I'll sell them to opposing fans.

But then again, I don't suck.

It is known.

I have seen you do it. (Eat the cost-not suck) Others here, as well.

And on the other hand I know there are prominent people here who complain about other fans in the stands yet they gladly make their tickets available to the highest bidder. Can’t have it both ways. Sorry.

What if I take a friend or family member that is a fan of the opposing team, am I allowed.

Maybe the other fans are so faithful to their team they are willing to pay more to watch them…a true Hawks fan could also pay more to watch right?

Opposing fans in mass is a bitter pill but as Sutz said…winning will fill the stadium with all the Hawks fans that couldn’t be bothered attending when the team was mid.

Funny how 12’s love to invade other stadiums but rage when it happens here.

Side note my section had a lot of 9’er fans and other than being loud they were surprisingly respectful and for the first time in years I didn’t notice any altercations. Maybe the 12’s have lost their fight…lulz

Many season ticket holders are fair weather fans. They aren't always the biggest fans, just the ones with the biggest wallets. And when rich people see an opportunity to make money by selling their tickets, even if it's just a few bucks, they do it.

Take a good long look at yourself. You are part of the problem. Not part of the solution.

Your thoughts, Aros?

Well, I have been selling my season tickets to @bigskydoc the past two seasons as my life circumstances have changed. I've sold my seats to many friends over the years who were diehards. I think there was one time I had to sell my tickets and it ended up being an opponent fan, but my season ticket neighbors told me the next gameday that they were totally chill and respectful.

I don't want to judge everyone since circumstances and reasonings vary from person-to-person. That's too broad a brush for me personally. However, if we are talking about the masses selling their tickets to the higher bidder simply for profit, yeah, homey don't play that.

Your attitude about selling to the highest bidder even if they're the enemy. Plus that pedantic crap about "What if I take a friend or family member that is a fan of the opposing team, am I allowed." GTFO with that bullshit. You know damn well what we're talking about here.
I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve sold my tickets in the last 27 years(didn’t make a penny). I even sold them once to a friend who was…a 9er fan(ohhhh noooooo)
Every game there are tickets for sale and every game Hawk fans decide not to buy them(various reasons). If someone wanted the seat taken by a 9er fan they most definitely could’ve had them.
And if you didn’t know, on line resellers don’t let you discriminate and sell to only Hawk fans.
I’ve had many years I couldn’t give my tickets away…not even the “real” fans wanted them…for free.
For as upset as the OP is I wonder if he made the effort to get tickets and show up.

So I guess be big mad at me and all the other STH’ers for not calling you and offering tickets to you, the most loyal fan….now gtfo lulz

Let's face it, opposing teams' fans love visiting Seattle. Teams like Cleveland, Pittsburgh, or Philly don't have this problem. We live in a beautiful place with a killer stadium.

Also, there's this. The city has turned to complete shit. Honestly I stopped feeling safe walking to and from the stadium for years now.

That fault lies on the private lot. No way that happens on official Seahawks lots. Those poor people paid a premium to park there and got nothing for it.
