I don't think that was ever in question but this shows how bad our depth is. We can't play the whole season hoping every starter will be playing every single game and snap. The team is going in a positive direction but we need to fix the depth before we expect to contend.

It was the perfect storm. Love and Spoon out and the front 4 couldn't generate pressure. The backfield is not the strength of this defense even when they are all healthy, it's the defensive line and they couldn't get it done. Mayfield had absolutely no threat of pressure today. At least hit him a few times to put it in the back of his mind. I don't know why Mike didn't add in at least a few more blitzes. Some pretty poor tackling too, which Love and Spoon would have been better at.

There’s a lot of facets to the game. Just like we can’t put everything on Sam for the late INT, we can’t put xXXXxxX on so and so…

But….in line with the theme of this thread, our two losses are a DIRECT result of poor CB play.

This is our bane. This will be what keeps us out of the playoffs or ensures a wildcard loss.

Unless, something miraculous happens trade wise.

I know its unreasonable, but I was (and still am) irritated those two didn't suit up today

Injuries happen, it just feels weird that they played 10 days ago, nothing clear or apparent happened, and suddenly they were back on the injury report
