The Hard Way Is the Only Way
Seahawks vs. Rams A Super Bowl Before the Super Bowl
I need to start this honestly.
I didn’t know the Seattle Seahawks were going to be this good.
I believed they’d be competitive. I believed they’d fight. I believed they’d matter deep into the season.
But I didn’t see a team built to stare down anyone . mentally, physically, out coach even the best ! Straight up clamp down on anyone and break a teams will . In a word DOMINATE .
That’s what makes this moment hit harder.
Because while I didn’t know Seattle would rise to this level, I did know one thing early when it came time to prove it, the team standing across from them would be the Los Angeles Rams.
And here we are.
Respect the Reality
The Rams are exactly who we thought they were.
Talented. Physical. Experienced. Dangerous in every phase.
This isn’t a fluke run or a lucky draw. This is a legitimate contender, playing its best football when it matters most. Anyone pretending otherwise hasn’t been paying attention IMHO.
Which is why this game feels like the Super Bowl just scheduled a week early to me.
The Hard Way
Look at what this team has been asked to do.
Beat a divisional rival to secure the No. 1 seed
Turn around and face that same rival again, knowing they’d throw everything they had at us
Then line up against another division rival for the NFC crown
With the prize potentially being a trip back into a rival’s stadium for the ultimate stage
That’s not luck.
That’s not advantage.
That’s survival.
This is the NFL stripping everything down to truth.
Why Seattle Still Feels Right
This game is in Lumen Field.
Compressed space.
Noise that doesn’t just distract it suffocates.
The loudest fans the earth has ever seen wreaking havoc on the opponents ears.
I like our chances here.
I like our chances against anyone!
With this defense oh you can most definitely bring your ass to pain. We got plenty to hand out and it comes from every where.
While the defense has been the foundation of this run, the offense has been explosive when it’s needed most. Sam Darnold has finally shed the weight that followed him for years and is playing fast, confident, and aggressive. The ball is coming out on time, defenses are stressed every snap, and the offense can strike quickly or grind when it has to. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is catching everything thrown his way, AJ Barner has been flat out tough , versatile, and physical . the two headed monster of Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet is wearing teams down. None of it works without an offensive line that is absolutely smashing people at the point of attack, setting the tone when this team needs to close.
So yeah we “got the Mott’s” too.
The Sweet Part Comes Last
Yes, it’s the hard way.
Yes, it’s unforgiving.
Yes, it asks more than most teams ever survive.
But if this story ends the way it could and I feel will.
Breaking divisional rivals.
Ending seasons.
Winning the NFC.
And earning a shot to win it all possibly on enemy ground.
That’s the kind of road that makes banners mean more.
Let’s finish it the only way that matters.
The hard way.
GO HAWKS !!
