Thankfully I doubt the Hawks will assume the same.

Not sure what to think about this one. The Texans haven't been great so far, but their D has the potential to be really good in any game.

I think we should win, but I'll never assume it will be easy.

Their D has given up the second least yards in the NFL...right behind us. But they've given up a ton of points. I haven't watched them, but that sounds like a team that's giving up great field position, maybe lots of turnovers?

I think it will be a very tough game and will be a true road test.

At least 'lifelong' Texans fans are only like 10.

Love the respect but this is still an away game against a good team. I for one will not be cocky going into this one.

J.J. Watt will be a tough task for our non-impressive O-line. Other than that, I dont see a reason why we would not win.. It's a 10 AM game, so there is some concern, but if we can overcome that and get a win, even the last sceptics will have to re-evaluate their stand.

You're half right.

JJ Watt is the real deal, and one hell of a nice guy, but check your schedule, the game starts at noon. :stirthepot:

It's still 10 am for those in the Pacific Time Zone.

I just like to give the "10:00am" crowd some grief.

I try, but I just can't resist.

I have no real idea what will happen, still have to do the research. But the sentiments you are seeing are a great sign that the rest of the NFL has reached the point where a game against the Hawks is already chalked up as an L.

Yup you were both wrong. The game is at 1 am, not 8 or 12. There are no 8 am games

Nor are there noon games... 10am start for those of us on the west coast...

i expect a win because i feel we're the overall better team, however i would not be suprised at a loss, and would be ok with that as long as we're beaten and not beat ourselves with penalties and poor execution.. It's obvious we have not had the same intensity on the road for whatever reason. I hope they bring just enough to get the job done.

If we play the way we're capable, we should win...

After watching Jacksonville make our LT look like a turnstile I am worried as Watt is one of the best, RW is going to be running to the right all game I think.

I don't watch a lot of Texans games, but from what I've seen, I believe Watt usually lines up on the defensive left, meaning Giacomini will block him. But who knows, maybe they move him around.
