I lurked on the third floor. One of you tried to steal my pizza.:)

Why did you lurk?

Yeah, I don't understand that either.

I am probably one of the shyest people I know, and yet I made the effort, 8 or 9 years ago now, to show up at
Temple and ask random people if they were from .net until I found Hawkstorian.

You came from so far away, you knew where we were sitting, and what at least some of us look like. Not taking the time
to at least say hello is just really, really strange behavior. Seriously, like a psychopathic-level of strangeness.

If you think lurking in the same building and purposefully staying away from a group you associate with online, even
watching one of us almost take your food (!) is "normal" behavior, I think you should start talking to a therapist.

I am not saying this to be mean or humorous, but out of a deep concern for a fellow .netter.

Wtf? Project much? I was at a table with a friend I've known since I was 6 years old. I had a chat with him, had a few drinks, and headed to the game. I've been to Temple many times, even though I come from far away. Most of the time I end up in conversations with new people, this time I was content to watch the early games while talking with an old friend I hadn't seen for a few months.

I'm a social , talkative person. I run a company with 30 plus employees, I travel tons and easily make friends.

Lay off with the freaky amateurish psychobabble.

Think I'm just covering up? Ask the proe on the board who've met me... Aros, Sammy, PE Hawk, etc.

Wow.... Some people.. See two sentences on an Internet message board and want to play therapist.

99 percent of the time I wear my techworlds Jersey. If you been there as much as you claim you have seen it.

The question remains why not say hi?

It's been proven we don't bite.

And that's the question, in my roundabout way, I was asking as well. There's got to be a reason, and at least Glove
is honest and direct with his. He doesn't want to take 30 seconds to say hello because we are strange. No problem.

The description of you lurking and watching as someone from .net almost stole your pizza wasn't my invention.
That was your description. Sorry, I guess I should have read the stuff about your longtime friend and the rest of it
in the margins of the emoticon in your original post.

Sorry my read on the situation touched a button of yours, Vet.

You didnt touch a button...you just freaking reached out to some inner fears you had in high school or something. Its bizarre to read so much into a single word. My "description" wasnt of me lurking..wasnt a description. It was a single word choice. The pizza comment was freaking joke. My pizza got delivered to the table behind me at first and it took the waiter or whatever a moment to realize it since the person who recieved didnt say anything. It says way more about you than me that you spun it out into a scenario where I am some guy in a trench coat, hiding in shadows , wanting to join in the fun but unable to. I freaking happen to be a person that tends to let a situation come to me more than force a conversation un-naturally. Where I grew up that is simply how its done. If my table had been closer to another, if Id been in line (my friend did all the ordering), if either of the 2 .netters I had talked to about meeting.. I would have said hi. Since my friend isnt much of a football person to begin with, I didnt really feel like forcing him into awkward conversations.

You didnt "touch a button"..I had to respond because you wrote a paragraph trying to make me sound like a borderline shut in. Then TechWorlds chimes in trying to make me sound like a liar.. "if" Ive shown up to Temple as much as I say? Whatever. As I said, you can ask people who know me what Im like.

Vetamur. It is obvious that you feel attacked. Sorry about that. Riley and Dom are two of the kindest people I have met via .NET, bar none. The fact that you are having an issue with THEM says something about YOU.

Several times over the years you have boasted about being 'seen but not knowingly' at Temple.

I think that is extremely sad.

Prior to the Niners game I went around Temple speculating which strangers you might be.

"Are YOU vetamur?"

"Are YOU vetamur?"

"Are YOU vetamur?"

Initially I was very serious, but it quickly became embarrassing.

You have posted in the past: "many of you have seen and met me but you just don't know it."

Sorry, but that is tacky as Hell and fringing in FTW territory.

You are a universally respected poster who many of us would love to meet and chat with.

It's dishonorable to be such a spook and lord it over us, frankly.

Apologies again, Vet.
