Dude's stubborn as hell. I don't hate the guy, but with his insistence on playing QB, I hope he flames out soon so everyone stops talking about him

I remember the Jets using him a little at TE last season. He didn't look like an NFL TE doing it, and didn't even seem like a natural fit there.

I think Tebow's athleticism is a little overstated. He's a good athlete, not an elite one. There is one thing, and one thing only, that makes Tebow special- his intangibles. And those intangibles will only work in his favor at QB. So I don't blame him for being stubborn. But if he has any prayer of panning out, he's got to learn to throw the football from scratch. That said, I think he's out of chances, so it won't matter.

Agree'd. He's a big, powerful dude but he's not super athletic. Not particularly fast. His ceiling after a fwe years working at tight end would be a guy who could make ten yard catches and move the chains but who would not give you any big play, explosive potential. I think he might be better as a pure fullback then as a tight end but even at that position I don't see him being the athlete that a Michael Robinson is.

He's following his dream and the last time he was given a chance he won an NFL playoff game

There's not many people who you can say that about

I think it's a shame, as he could be a pretty damn good H-back. Honestly, I would love for our guys to take a flyer on him as an H-back if he wasn't so stubborn.

Now back to your regularly scheduled caring about players that are actually on teams and playing this weekend.
Um NO thanks. Hawks don't need the drama that goes along with TT.

It's called humility, Tim. It's god's way of telling you that you're doing it wrong.

I think Kurt Warner gave him the right advice: take a couple of years in the CFL, Arena League, whatever and see if you can improve. If he can get better, he'll get another shot at the NFL. But I seriously doubt there's a team in the league that's going to take a flyer on him now.

In a couple years, though, if he has shown improvement...?

Yeah, because that team only won because of Tim Tebow's amazing play at QB. If you took off the Tebow rose colored glasses off you'd see all those comebacks he engineered was because of his defense holding on till the 4th QB for Tebow to do his magic. They had to hold on that long because of how inept Time Tebow was at QB, if could could have mustered more offense in the 3 other quarters those comebacks wouldn't even have been needed. If Denver didn't have that defense that year nobody would even be talking about how all Tebow has done in the NFL is win in the regular season and in the playoffs against an injury depleted Steelers. They would say how much he was in over his head. I think his success doing things his way is exactly why he is failing now. If Tebow had an ounce of ability to actually play QB in the NFL with his in tangibles he could probably become one of the greatest QBs to play the game. The problem is in this era a QB needs to be able to throw the football, it is something he has to be willing to learn to do, and that is something Tebow just can't seem to do.
