Apparently our backup FB sprained his ankle significantly on the last play of the game. Wonderful...

Seahawks rookie RB/FB Spencer Ware suffered a "significant" ankle sprain on the final play of Sunday's Week 2 win over the 49ers Sunday night.
Ware, the No, 194 overall pick, played seven snaps in the victory after sitting on the sidelines for the entire season opener in Carolina. If he's going to be sidelined for upwards of a month, the Seahawks may just place him on I.R.

Lame, he just got some playing time, could hurt special teams too.

This so blatantly the game within the game by the Seahawks that it's comical. Expect:

a) MRob re-signed by tomorrow
b) Ware to IR where he can heal fast and spend a year learning
c) Christine Michael starting to get touches next week.

If you're suggesting that they're faking Ware's ankle injury and had planned to put him on IR all along in order to bring back Mike Rob, then well... actually, that's pretty believable.

Dont get my hopes up. If by the end of the week is Mike Rob isnt back...ill be as disappointed as one could be that my team didn't bring one of our better FB back.

I guess I shouldn't get anyone's hopes up. Was just the first thought that popped into my head and I'm on the internet thingie, so don't need a filter.

2 of them will happen. Expect 4 backs active on game day. Ware was limping on the last play, so its a game by necessity.

The team will need a spot for an OL while the Okung issue is in flux. They need to make a move but probably not a FB.

I'd expect Okung to also be IR'ed (w/ designation to return) so that would take care of that.

It's only right that M-Rob be brought back to win a Super Bowl with the rest of them. And because someone needs to film all the locker room shots as the story unfolds...

I think they activate Bailey and see what he can do against Jacksonville. Even without Okung and even after letting Person go, we have a lot of depth at offensive tackle left over.

This may be a blessing in disguise. As much as I hate to see a guy go down.

It's time for cmike!

Is Coleman still alive? Why on earth would we bring back MRob? We don't need 2 Fbs.

Yes on Bailey. What's the word on Okung? I didn't see it yet. Is it turf toe?

Reviews of the game showed Coleman didn't have great blocks sometimes against the 49ers and Panthers, and when he did, Marshawn didn't trust him and didn't follow him.

That's a problem.

Even if Coleman is making good blocks, the RB has to trust the FB. He blindly trusted Mike Rob and it may take a full season before he trusts Coleman.

Where is the link saying that Lynch didn't trust Coleman?
