I 100% DISAGREE.

It's not dumb on paper whatsoever.

It was either going to be us re-signing Walker or re-signing Shaheed.

And Walker made our choice for us when he signed with the Chiefs.

Also, I can't help but wonder if the inability to re-sign Coby Bryant freed up a bit more money to be able to go slightly higher to ensure Shaheed re-signed?

My brother from no previous mother, Mael is saying it looks dumb ON PAPER. Followed by him basically saying that it makes sense.
He makes a good point. It's easy to say "wow, that's a lot of money for him" because that's what it SEEMS to be.
But I think this will prove to be a hell of a signing. Also, Jobe was expected to get a lot more than he did, so it kind of evens it out a little.

Am I the only one who thinks we should chill with the JSN contract extension?

The only one who could influence JSN's contract next year is Puka, that's it. Why would they extend JSN's contract specifically after this breakout year? Let him have another year like that, then we can be sure, and the price wont go any higher. I dont want to give JSN 40+ a year right now.

I think the point is that you would rather Puka NOT set the market as it would make re-signing JSN a bit harder than it would be if JS hammered out an extension from now.
