Yes. Only because we had a 5 game improvement from 5-11 to 10-6 and were playing at home.

Maybe I'm having a hard time adding, but I'm pretty sure we had a 4 game improvement, so the same logic applies.

5 game to 4 game improvement

Playing at home vs not at home.

Up 14-0 and unable to close at home. Makes no logical sense.
How ironic that this is the only thing that makes sense from you...

Min boggling that you're trying to compare 2011 win vs a 2012 loss...

No excuses until playoffs 2014. We had no business losing this game after winning in Seattle (toughest place to win in NFL) with inferior talent eg Grossman and Helu.

You had no business winning that game in Seattle when the Seahawks had a 17-7 lead in the 4th quarter. 8) Rex would be a Hall of Famer if he played against Seattle every game...don't know where he got his anti-Seahawk mojo from, but it's good.

Your team has a VERY bright future ahead. Especially with a healthy Orakpo returning! Here's wishing Griffin has a solid and complete recovery from his injuries, and your coaching staff and front office do not return him to the field until that happens.

I get your angle. You had high hopes for your young team but we had every reason to beat you guys. We are a better team than the Redskins. Sorry dude, its the truth.

I saw how his brace was constructed - as an engineer, I would have made a brace with 2 sets of straps on each end. With only 1 set on each end, it lets the muscles flex under each end and allows the ends the shift relative to each other. If there were 2 sets of straps on each end, the thigh and the calf would not shift within the brace and the knee couldn't possibly be flexed sideways like it was.

Thanks lol well...hoping the MRI tomorrow doesn't confirm the worst but it looked bad. Thought braces protected against this time of collapse.

I am extremely pissed about two things right now:

1) That field is allowed. If the league cares so much about player safety, why do they allow teams to have fields like that? It is a hazard to the players. Hell it may have drastic consequences on the Redskins franchise if RG3 has a serious injury, which leads me to number 2....

2) What the F*** is Shanahan's problem? Your excuse for leaving your franchise savior in a game is because he said is he hurt not injured? So you're telling me a super competitive NFL player didn't want to pull himself out of a play off game? Everyone could see RG3 was not the same player early in the game and that knee was just a time bomb. Another poster mentioned this and I agree but doubt it will happen but I really hope Synder has a nice long talk with Shanahan tomorrow morning. For as much as this league preaches player safety the fact that a coach can get away with putting his players (he has a history of this) in situations where they can be seriously injured should be enough to boot him out of the league.

Same here...I mean he went 9 for 18 for 100 yards last week but that was explained away by Morris getting 200 yards.

Then he starts off well..6 for 9 today but definitely by halftime I was expecting Cousins

We should also be pissed about what that field did to Clemons.

He probably tore his acl.

and possibly what it did to Hauschka.

I've never been one to jump on the NFL about some of the crap they do but this just proves (at least in my eyes) they don't care about player safety. They care about winning a lawsuit about concussions.
