I wouldn't have a problem with that. I like the gray jersey.

I really like ya'll Blue-on-Blue combo, and the Gray-on-Gray for that matter as well. :th2thumbs:

It reminds me of when we wear the Black-on-Black combo.

Those do look sharp; however, I think the two best-looking uniforms in the NFL are when the Cardinals wear their black-on-blacks, and when the Chargers wear their all-powder blues. They're both absolutely sick.

All I wanna know is,.......

..........when are the Seahawks gonna have a "throwback jersey" game?

To this day,......the royal blue/silver are my (absolute) favorite colors.

My recommendation for a game,..... would be the Nov. 3rd game (in Seattle) against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (who entered the league as an 'expansion team' the same year as the Seahawks).

The Seahawks in their BEST threads,.........against the Bucs in their pink-and-orange early-ons,........will make for some great (visual HD) TV.

No way... I bought a white Harvin road jersey and I love it.

Fan jerseys don't count. Every freaking team in the league has white in either their home or away jerseys. We have the ability to be the only team that doesn't, and we should take that opportunity. Those all-Wolf Grays looked sharp on the field at Buffalo.

Get out of my friggin' head Roland! This is literally what I've been thinking since that Buffalo game, almost word for word.

Every team (in pretty much every sport) has a white jersey. Why do we have to be like every team? If it were me running the show, we'd ditch anything white, go with blue/blue at home and gray/gray on the road and the alternate that we're allowed to wear twice a year would be the old school throwback jerseys.

Plus, the Hawks have an awful record in the all white dating back for a while now. That's representative of the team's poor play on the road, and not the jerseys, but it'd be a pretty cool symbolic thing if they were to just do away with white in the uni's completely.

Of course, it'll never happen.

I remember hearing something about how throwback's have to be requested a season prior. someone can correct me if Im wrong. But unless they already requested them, they wont be able to wear them this year if they wanted too.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that you're right about that.

It's all good though. The team just needs to put the request in now so that come 2014, our first season as defending Super Bowl Champions, we can re-write the rules and common practices of the NFL and march to the beat of our own drum. PC has always talked about doing things differently then they've ever been done before. I feel that should trickle down to even the smallest of details, like the uniforms. Which, apparently to some around here, aren't that small of a detail haha

Yeah, but nothing says they haven't requested it and are saving the announcement... 8)

But I suspect they may want another season in the new Nike style before going throwback. And I imagine they may try out a few new combos this season as well.

I suspect we may see Blue on White in the season opener in Carolina. The Panthers are one of the teams that usually wears white jersey's at home, especially in the heat and humidity of Charlotte in September... so we will be in blue tops.

Haha, likewise, sir! And I definitely agree. The Cards black-on-blacks look amazing with the white helmets and red accents everywhere. And the powder blues are pretty sweet too, I just don't like the numbers on the side the helmets, LOL.

UGH, yes. The always do it to us, especially when we play them early in the season. :thfight7:

Have the Bolts ever worn ALL powder blues?? I've only seen them wear powder blue tops with white pants.

All powder blue might be badass.

Oops, I guess not. I thought they had, but it's actually white pants with powder blue sides, and powder blue socks; I guess I just converted it to "all powder blue" in my mind's eye.

Chargers powder blues

Bah. Another misconception/old wives tale. It's actually better to wear black in hot weather than white. Black lets your body breathe more; white traps body heat. Though, for tight-fitting clothes, there is little difference between black and white; but for looser clothing, black is better than white by a considerable margin.
