"one of the best blocking TE's in the NFL" title doesn't fit when he's also the highest penalized player on your team and he's played 1 less game than anybody else. So hopefully what shows in a couple weeks is no more holding/false starts for him.

Might be later this week until we find out. There is a roster exemption according to Pete for a bit of time this week.

Well, we have a roster exemption for him until Saturday, so don't expect to hear an answer before Friday on this one. Irvin has been out a week, he could come into practice and not be up to "game speed" and be held out until next week. This will be a coaches decision and likely won't be made before they have to. Although we may get some hints during the post practice presser on Wednesday, especially if he practices really well.

Not sure how his injury is going to effect this, but it will have something to do with this.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't seen that, although I heard pete reference the fact that he'd been back in Virginia working out.

just to be clear, when I said "up to game speed" I didn't mean to infer he wasn't in shape to play, but the mental aspect of the game he may take a few practices to get up to speed with the rest of the defense. I'm fully expecting him to be on the roster this weekend.

Very limited. Bennett is going to practice this week. Only way it would really affect it is if Bennett went on IR which isn't happening. A cut will come once the exemption is up on Saturday.
