So how is Revis doing this year?

All the news out of Tampa is about the fued between Freeman and Schiano. I haven't heard anything about Revis. Is he back to his old form? I am obviously interested because of the Revis/Sherman feud and how that all plays out

Funny you should ask. Story came out today that Revis is already unhappy with his new coach and defensive scheme.

Revis' problem is he thinks he's bigger than the game. Our own Percy Harvin shares this same ailment. Whether Revis is right or not, he's not the coach and his job is to do as instructed by his coach. At the very least, such debate should be done in the privacy of the coach's office, sans media. Unless he aims to be the next T.O.

If the report is true, I don't blame him. You don't pay a shutdown corner 100 million and then ask him to play zone you're pretty much wasting his talent. Its no different than our defense playing press all game to only switch to a soft zone at the end of the loss allowing a team to drive all he way down the field to score.

I watched a little of the Saints vs Tampa game on Sunday Revis looked good to me.

It sounds like Schiano is a terrible NFL coach, both from a on the filed standpoint, and player management. He will probably get fired at some point this season.
