What a crappy Sunday night matchup to be subjected to. I guess all I hope for is that both teams suck equally so that the game is competitive? It's also fun watching to see if RGIII puts himself in danger and gets whacked as seems to happen regularly.

This is a Eastern conference match up, great ratings from Cowboys East.

At least it's not Joe Buck, who's probably curled up crying in a corner somewhere because he doesn't get to cover every NFC East game.

Are the Giants really this bad? I mean Redskins looking like a powerhouse against them.. Wait, looks like the real redskins are starting to show up now...

Running the ball looks like a pretty good strategy against the Redskins at the moment. Run D on that drive was non-existent.

Damn well there goes his career, propping Wilson over RGIII on a National Broadcast. NFL is going to send you to Cleveland Collingsworth.

Collinsworth: "here's my issue with RGIII. Watch Russell Wilson sometimes when the play breaks down, he scrambles to throw. On that play RGIII had plenty of time to keep looking downfield but didn't, and as a result no first down."

Paraphrasing but that was the essence of what he said.

Obviously I feel the same, but on that play I was going to make a comparison to RW for a different reason. Every game I watch RGIII is a magnet for plays where he is at-risk, even on plays where he really shouldn't be. On the play Collinsworth was talking about, RGIII somehow manages to get shoved deep into the sidelines, disappearing in the hazards over there, whereas Russell would have gone out a foot sooner and completely avoided contact.

RGIII has a knack for bad contact. In fact he may compete with Vick for the trophy when all is said and done.

That's what I thought he was going to say. How RW avoids the hits

Griffin just decides against six points. Nah, don't want it. Scrambling for 2 extra yards, guy running completely uncovered down the sidelines. Maybe he didn't feel comfortable throwing that on the run?

I just know it's six if that's Russell out there and not RGIII.

Did you see him trying to "block" on that gadget play? He basically put his chest into a defender's shoulder and then flew backwards. Nice idea, and all, but jeez... totally klutzy execution.

Not to mention he was late getting up the field and got in the way causing his teammate to miss a couple yards

As I watch this suckfest, I think about how badly this league needs our Hawks. We bring excitement to the game and Goodell would do well to call off his minions, cut us some slack so we can continue to properly represent "the brand".
