Absolutely not. Throughout his entire career he's been graded as one of the worst lineman in the NFL. He has also been the most penalized player in both 2018 and he was leading the league in penalties in 2019. Ifedi is not a good player, and he makes stupid decisions come game time. He is not worth keeping, we can do better than Ifedi, it wouldn't be very hard to do. The Seahawks also go through great lengths to give him extra help via play calling and TE/RB.

Ifedi is the weak link on our line, he needs to go.

Name one RT we've had that's better than Ifedi and tell me again how easy it is to find them?

Giacomini? Britt? Webb? Fant? They've all been pretty bad, dumb or injury prone.

Last 4 weeks I've barely heard Ifedi's name called or seen him blown up and he's been good in the run game. He may not be good but he's serviceable and these days finding serviceable tackles is a challenge. We need to spend the draft capital on a LT.

I say offer Ifedi a market average RT deal. If someone offers him a top of the market contract, let him walk. But I'd not toss him aside easily given difficulties finding talent at that position. It's not as easy as you guys seem to think.
Giacomini was better than Ifedi, i'd argue that at times Fant has played better too, albeit not on a consistent basis. Ifedi sets the bar incredibly low for tackle play. Once again, he has consistently ranked as one of the worst linemen since he's entered the league. He is absolutely a replacement level player, on most teams he'd be nothing but a backup.

Jock was a penalty machine, too. He usually got the 15 yarders instead of the 5's, though. :34853_doh:

Yeah because he was the guy that went after players cheap shotting Wilson, was Wilsons body guard early on.
