Don't recall who it was but I read where one of the media prognosticators predicted Sanders would go undrafted. I thought that was ridiculous but it is looking somewhat like a possibility.
Who could he and dad sue for ignoring him?
I didn’t hear about that but after the 3rd rd ended there was a strong possibility he would go undrafted. With all the negativity there has been with Sanders vs his ability

After I saw his first 4-5 games with Colorado in 2023 my first thought this guy is going to get killed in the NFL if he makes it that far. If I was a GM I wouldn’t even sign him as a UDFA let alone drafting him. There is going to be some drama with Cleveland there are a lot of QBs on thier roster

Deshaun Watson
Joe Flacco
Kenny Pickett
Dillion Gabriel
Shaduer Sanders

The Browns took one for all the teams. The act of drafting him, takes away all the accusations Sanders can aim at the league. If the Sanders "pull an Eli" as papa put it, on the Brown, it's on them.

One thing for sure, Deon learned how little love the teams have for him, and zero influence he has in the league. I wonder if Jerry returned Deon's calls in the past two days.
no but you sure as hell know Deon was def incontact with mel kiper, dude was throwing tantrums lol

Is it the biggest slide or is it just because who he is?

There's no single reason which has led to Sander's precipitous drop down draft boards. It wasn't just expectations of
scouts that were not met last season or the bad predraft process or reportedly poor interviews, it was the sum total of all
this. And the reason this is such a hot topic? His name.

Charles Davis of NFL Network explained it best on Friday evening during the network's telecast of the second day of the
draft. Davis compared Shedeur's present situation to that of Sam Howell, the former North Carolina quarterback projected
at one time as a top-10 pick. Howell had a poor junior campaign but entered the 2022 draft anyway, where he was
projected to be a Day 2 selection. Eventually Howell was chosen by the Washington Commanders in the fifth round, and he
has since bounced around the league.

As Davis so eloquently explained as the third round was closing out, Howell's drop did not garner a fraction of the attention
Sanders' fall has been getting, and it's because of the name.

Maybe the commissioner called around for any team to take one for the league. If he went undrafted, there might be lawsuits etc.
Once the draft pick was made it made me think of another poor draft pick the owner made QB Johnny Manziel at least the Shaduer Sanders pick was in the 5th rd and not the 1st
