Answer the Browns, who wants one poisonous QB when you can have 2.The thing is what team wants to draft him as a backup with all the noise that comes along with it?
NFL heard me, lol, they avoided Shedeur claiming victimhood if he went undrafted. Browns took one for the league and drafted him after they drafted a QB in 3rd round.
Thank you Browns, but they must also remember what papa said about pulling a Eli.
The other thing is money...try and sign him for 5th round money? I don't see it.. I just dont...I think their is a better chance that he trys to go back to college... not sure what the rules are but I could even see a big court case against the NCAA rather than Sanders accepting 5th round money... this guy is toxic IMO.
LTH
I wonder if the Browns (and browns ownership) were offered "future compensation" for taking this bullet? The Browns took one for all the teams. The act of drafting him, takes away all the accusations Sanders can aim at the league. If the Sanders "pull an Eli" as papa put it, on the Brown, it's on them.
One thing for sure, Deon learned how little love the teams have for him, and zero influence he has in the league. I wonder if Jerry returned Deon's calls in the past two days.
Poor Dillon Gabriel...LOLBrowns probably have the worst qb room in football right now.
