Shaheed (NO/SEA)57 677 2 29$1.2 M

I didn't put in returns, where Shaheed is top 10 on PR and KR, but nor did I put in penalties, dropped passes, and drama.

Good deal I'd say. He'll probably be in the $12-15M range next year though. (Metcalf's $30M+ years start next season.)

I think he was referring to getting him worked into the game plan.
Yep…and considering what stage in the season we acquired him, that’ll be the case with damn near every/any player.

Slow start was absolutely by design (imo)
Mannnnn….I still sorta feel like MM and JS are playing some master chess match.

Offensively, we haven’t just come out and unleashed everything…in every game.

Take that last game for instance, we damn near had 300 yards in the second half (not sure how much of that was punt return…if any).

It feels like they’re trying to ‘not show’ everything just yet.

I imagine we’ll see some deep threat attempts to ‘Heed when/if it gets sticky in the playoffs.

I sure hope you're right about not showing "everything yet". Kubiak needs to pull something off...and it should start with the blinders.
Just my opinion though.

Agreed. If it’s what I said in the previous post, then dude is a genius.

But, that playcalling in the last few first halves….geeeeezuuuuus H.

I seem to remember a lot of comments here at the time of the trade that Shaheed was just an expensive half-season rental. Times change, don't they?

I'm not surprised given the history in the last 9 years of the Seahawks trading for players like Jimmy Graham, Shelby Harris, Jadaveon Clowney, Jamal Adams and others that ended up being a waste. Even though it's a different coaching staff, it has been a while since a trading for a player has worked out for us. Can anyone remember trading for a player in the last 9 years that actually ended up making a positive overall impact?

Darnold requires a defensive int or special teams catalyst to play well in the second half. Thank the lord for Shaheed.

Leonard williams

Small change but quandre diggs was a decent player for only giving up a 5th round pick in a trade.

We usually seem to do well trading away players at the right time. Dk and geno. Only massive bust was the frank Clark one. All the players we drafted from those picks were busts
