Sucks Nix got hurt. Was really looking forward to a Super Bowl with the starting QBs being ESPN, and really all talking heads, two favorite punching bags at QB. Make them look like the idiots they are.

That injury made today's game between the Patriots and the Texans a game to see who goes straight to the SuperBowl because the Broncos with Jared Stidham are basically a virtual BYE.

The haters are going to hate and little we can say will change their minds.

Sam is a good solid QB and well thought of by his team. BTW he’s won 15 game this year.

Some peeps want him to fail, he won’t.

He’s getting stronger and stronger every game as he removes any self doubt and the ghosts disappear.

This first half is a major disappointment and pillow fight. Stroud is awful. He looks like a doe in the headlights. His line is not helping. He is getting pressured on every play. They cannot run. So it is easy to make Stroud beat them. The results are predictable. I thought Stroud could move better and apparently not today. You cannot win games with that many picks. The pats are putting lots of pressure on him. The Texans have got to adjust with quicker stuff. Move him out of that pocket more and go wiith more quick hitches.

Texans don't h ave a run game..are the Pats even accounting for it?
but.. I don/t think this is the right spot for this.

If the Hawks and the Pats meet in the SuperBowl, that game is going to be a FG-kicking contest because both teams have very good defenses.

Though I would like to see how the Pats hand K9 and Charbs.

So imma say it, look back at what Russell was doing on our SB runs or Geno for that matter.

Long balls and just the run with scrambles ISNT sustainable for continued success as a team.

What Coach Mike has Sam doing IS. It’s not fancy, it gets it done. Look at where we’re at now and headed

I look at it as Meat and Potatoes offense.

It's not fancy lobster or caviar....but it's FOOD.

And what great about this team and Sam, Walker, Charbs, Shaheed, JSN all of them AJ etc (no particular order)

They can have the lobster and caviar when they want to and it’ll be fine. That is the benefit of having a balance offense and a good QB at the helm does.

100%. Pretty much exactly what I’m saying. It is food. And I love it. I don’t need my QB to be considered by the mediocre mediots and fans as an all-world great, to enjoy the success of his labor. I just need him to play complementary football.

But it’s hard to trust a meat and potatoes guy to get you back into a game when something more is needed.

Just so we all know: it was 12 years ago when the Hawks last won the Super Bowl.

Just keep that in mind with the play of a suffocating D and a reliable but perhaps unspectacular O. Last night’s 41-6 smack down of the 9ers says different.

The Niners were unable to stop the run inter week 18 game and proved vulnerable again to the same issues. To merge O is also a lot better than we give it credit. So is Sam. Our ST are simply special.

Enjoy the ride!

And this goes back to your "what Sam needs to do to get him to change the narrative" thing, right?

honestly... i might give out vacations to people because im tired of it. what kind of fan keeps finding excuses shit on your QB who keeps proving it over and over and over and over
Just so I don't end up on an unexpected vacation, OR get another comment deleted, can you or someone else show me an example of those posts? I'm completely serious. I feel like I might somehow have more people on ignore than the 1 or 2 troll fans of other teams. Again, what constitutes "shitting on" Sam (who played really good, imo)? Just one example.

That was said last night right after we won and meant as sarcasm. Nobody is getting a vacation or anything.

And im sure if you dig through some Sam Donald related posts you’ll probably see the “perps” who move goalposts or try and spin why Darnold is bad or unreliable or whatever.
And as for “shitting on” that’s poor wording on my part just in part that’s how I see the constant negativity and narratives people want to keep shifting to Sam.

I genuinely don’t want to suspend/ban anyone. I’m just exhausted seeing fans talk down a player that’s been stellar. Done what he’s been asked to, and has been an incredible teammate that even the defense sticks up for (EJ) and a good human being. Meanwhile has brought us just one more game closer to the big one.

Currently think those “fans” are silent. And will be until either Seattle looses or will speak up post season and try and start again and be like “can he do it back to back”

Yes, and I’m also saying that I don’t yet have the same kind of confidence that Sam will bring us back from from a 4th quarter, 2 score deficit that I would have with prime Wilson, Allen (before last night), Stafford, or Mahomes.

IMHO, it’s 100% reasonable to have that level of faith in him, and 100% reasonable to not yet be fully convinced. I don’t think it’s 100% reasonable to be fully convinces that he isn’t “him.”

Okay that's fair.

I think he can be "him" and I have more confidence than yourself, I suppose.

He has shown that he does have that ability in that 2nd Rams game.

But... he has?
