I'm not sure the Packers with Seneca Wallace under center even qualifies as average.

Always liked Seneca. Sure he had his issues, never expected him to be a long term starter or anything like that, but when he was on he was on.

You guys have short memories. In 2008 he set a club record with 184 consecutive passes without an interception (25 more than Matthew's previous record of 159 set in 2005). That year Seneca had over 1500 yds, 11 TD's and 3 INT's in 8 starts. If you actually watched any of those games you know that there were times he looked damn good.

So yeah. That's when he was on.

Specifically, in '08, we almost beat the Pats with Seneca at the helm. He threw for 212 yds and 3 TD's. That was right in the middle of his no INT streak. We could have won that game and it was no fault of Seneca's that we didn't. He's had his moments.

Didn't they come back for that one only to still lose? That 2008 team was so depleted from injuries, they didn't give up on Holmgren either like they did Mora.

We were up the whole game, including 14-3 at one point. Pats only went ahead with a TD with like 2 minutes left in the game or something like that. But our first few drives were things of beauty, to the best of my recollection. Also remember some really killer drops late in the game, if memory serves.
