Another bottom dweller team we should beat handily. Probables Gilbert v Dunning.

Gilbert is pretty sharp so far. Flinging 97-98 mph fast ball.

Hitters hitting a lot of ground balls.

Apparently the Rangers do not see eye-to-eye with the Cowgirls on the matter of mobile carriers.

Marco up tomorrow at 1:00 PDT. He's been on a bit of a roll, so hopefully another good outing.

Cal has batted .259 with 2 homers and 6 ribbies in his last 7 games.

That was the Ms first win in over a month without scoring 5+.

What a clutch win.

Yeah, Raliegh is starting to show some pop at the plate. Nice to see him coming around.

It feels like the team is slowly gaining momentum. Since the shakeup of Lewis and Trammell, it just feels like they brought some life into the M’s.

Was really cool to see Suarez win the game after his throwing error.

I’m still somewhat optimistic knowing we haven’t played our best baseball and we aren’t at full strength. Would love to see the lineup with both Haniger and Lewis. Not counting on it, but would make our lineup very interesting.

Here we go again. Lots of base runners, no scores until top 5 with the Winker 2 run dinger.

Marco pitching a gem, mostly. But gave up a 3 run bomb bottom 4.

Maybe I missed something, but Ford has done exactly squat for us so far. Why is he here?

Once again, can't get base runners across the plate when they need to.

He hasn't done much but to be fair I thought that was ball four, ump didn't agree though.

Offense is so hard to watch sometimes

*Pitching.

The Ms do not win pitching duels. The last game they won in a pitching duel was 5/13. The offense wins for this team. The last 12 games the offense is averaging over 5 runs a game. During the 6 game stretch where they went 1 and 5?

Pitching was allowing 6.7 runs per game. The offense was scoring 5 plus.

I’m really surprised to see how well Perez is pitching. He’s basically been a guy with a career ERA in the mid to high 4’s and he is an early cy young candidate. A week ago or two Blowers was mentioning how it is much easier for a pitcher to go from mediocre to great in todays game than a hitter.

Baseball is a weird sport. Perez goes from back end starter to ace and we get the former cy young winner and he has looked like a back end starter.

Hopefully we can get a win today.

Give Texas credit. They had a better off season than Seattle. Simple as. Doubt Texas is a playoff team but the M's are what they are. A 4th place team.
Well with that comeback maybe they can be in 3rd place soon.
