On the road again. Let's hope they pack the bats this time.

Probables:

Fri: George Kirby RHP (9-10, 3.48 ERA, 151 SO) vs Carson Fulmer RHP (0-5, 4.15 ERA, 79 SO) Apple+ TV

Sat: Bryan Woo RHP (6-2, 2.05 ERA, 68 SO) vs Tyler Anderson LHP (10-12, 3.41 ERA, 122 SO)

Sun: Bryce Miller RHP (10-7, 3.23 ERA, 143 SO) vs Johnny Cueto RHP (0-2, 7.15 ERA, 6 SO)

Should be winnable, but the Angles have owned us lately.

Kirby has been all over the place the past month. Good thing we were gifted five runs in the first, because, this was another struggle day for him.

Urias called up why not. I want to see Montes but that's probably not until next season.

Boston, Minn, and KC all lost today. Might be more likely M's get a wildcard spot.

Wait a minute, so Wilson put JP right back in the lead off spot, with his .200 BA and .300 OBP, and moved Robles down to the 9 spot, with his .278 BA and .345 OBP? And no one's criticizing or lol-ing this move?

Lol, I guess it's fine as long as it isn't Servais making an awfully questionable decision that doesn't appear to make any sense whatsoever.

JP isn't going anywhere, he's making $10 million a year. Stuck with him.

Yeah, probably, but that wouldn't have stopped you from ripping into Servais for making the exact same move, and Wilson could always put JP at the bottom of the lineup where he belongs.

Total team effort to blow a game they had no business losing. That was a clown show out there tonight.

How typical.

This team has no heart... nothing.

All they seem to know is how to lay down... PATHETIC.

4 players who are batting .200 will be on the team next season too. Garver, Haniger, Polanco, and JP.
Sweet!

Garver wishes he was hitting .200. That would be a significant improvement from his current BA.

5-4 Dan Wilson.

I dont see any difference.

That's because there isn't any difference. Same terrible offense, same bad BP, same bad defense, same starting rotation that is much better at home than on the road.

There isn't a manager on earth that could do jack sh1t with this team with these players.

I used to think Stanton was the biggest problem, but it was Dipoto that got rid of some of our most productive hitters and replaced them with Garver, Haniger, Polanco, and Urias, and he's paying those guys significantly more than Teo, Geno, and Kelenic are making. So the "yeah, but Dipoto is hamstrung by Stanton" excuse absolutely doesn't hold water here.

Honestly, I just feel sorry for Dan Wilson at this point. He's got no chance to be successful here.

Seems like Gar is helping Julio get back on track but that's all we:ve seen so far, and honestly that's all we should expect. Losing Teo and Geno completely derailed the slugging aspect of the offense. Jerry messed up badly at DH and 3rd base but we were saying that before the coaching changes. Remember Ben Gamel? He's tearing it up with Houston now.

Julio had a lot of hot streaks under the previous coaches too. Remember last August? Remember earlier this season before he got injured?

I've been saying that since early April. Happy to provide links to my posts from then if you want proof.
