Next season is going to be lit as f*ck at Lumen! 😤😤😤

- Cards will still be the Cards. They'll play us tough but we will win in the end like always.

- Rams games at Lumen are always great. But even moreso this season as I truly believe this will be Stafford's last season so let's make sure he goes out with a whimper, shall we? :devilish:

- The Niners will be a bit stronger with Bosa and Warner healthy but they're still going to be beatable. Nothing's changed on that front.

- Can't wait to embarrass the Cowboys. I'm sure D-Law is looking forward to this.

- Giants are going to be easier than people think as I don't think Dart will be able to handle The Darkside

- Can't wait to beat up on Mahomes.

- Chargers will be tough as Justin Herbert has proven he's a Regular Season dynamo (it's the playoffs where he chokes)

- We're going to trounce Da Bears and show their fanbase what would've happened if they faced us instead of the Rams last year

- The rematch with the Pats should be interesting to see if Drake Meh has learned anything from the asskicking he got. Also, the battle between JSN and GONZO (Round 2) should be good.

People hate Mahomes (for dumb reasons, imo) but I'm stoked to see him play again. I like watching greatness.

yea...some people just hate others sustained success. There's no denying Mahomes elite capabilities and IMO always seemed like a good dude. Not really sure what there is to hate about him, unless you have envy issues coupled with low self-esteem.

I've met quite a few "good dudes" with elite capabilities (at whatever they did), who I didn't like much. If I had realized it was because I had envy issues coupled with low self-esteem, perhaps I could have turned my life around. Luckily, I do like Mahomes, so possibly there's still hope.

Without Andy and a good D, I question that he's really elite, even then I
see the Texans and Eagles show how you beat him.

He's one of the best of all time. Players make the plays; he's a cold-blooded killer when it matters.
You could claim it's just the coach about most QBs in the history of the game. The PLAYERS make the plays.
Sorry, but it's a lazy take. "He's only good because of his coach"
Translation: I don't like the guy, so he's overrated.

come on man

I said the HC/OC and a great D makes him what he is, I think it's
a fair observation, when Andy and Kelce retire, we will find out.

Again, you can say that about several QBs. Agree to disagree, he's an all-time great. I can't even believe I'm having to make a case for Patrick fricken Mahomes. I live in a world where Mahomes isn't great and Shedeur Sanders is a great QB.

Dayum

I'm hard on a lot of QBs and don't like very many, for me to call
any of them elite, you better be a Brady, Farve or Montana.
We will see in the next few years, I will admit I'm wrong if I see more
that will convince me.

Not a fair observation. Positive every coach and Andy would say that Mahomes would be successful wherever he went.

when Andy and Kelce retire, we will find out.
Mahomes coming off a torn ACL, no talent around him, and then we'll judge? No need...the verdict has been decided, by about everyone.

Observable Perfomances more than meets the eye test. Smart, accurate, knows the game, athletic, amazing performances, RESPECTED, etc.
His game tapes and highlights are easily found.

Personal Measurables are clearly elite levels:
  • 3× Super Bowl Champion (LIV, LVII, LVIII).
  • 3× Super Bowl MVP (LIV, LVII, LVIII) — He is tied with Joe Montana for the second-most in NFL history, trailing only Tom Brady (5).
  • 2× NFL Most Valuable Player (2018, 2022).
  • NFL Offensive Player of the Year (2018).
  • 6× Pro Bowl Selection and 2× First-Team All-Pro.
He's got tons of other led this or that different years.

Measurable impacts on Andy Reid's Chiefs
  • .663 to .762 winning % improvement...almost a full 10th difference, on an already high performing team.
  • 4 Playoff Appearances compared to 3 SB titles. Dramatic Improvement on Mission Success!

Chiefs Era - Andy Reid YearsRegular Season RecordWinning %Notable Achievement
Pre-Mahomes (2013–2017)53–27.6634 Playoff Appearances
Mahomes Era (2018–2024)77–24 (through Sept 2024).7623 Super Bowl Titles

He will be a 1st ballot HOF.

To deny he is elite and suggest it's due to Reid and the OC's is laughable. The players have to execute, and he is elite at that.

Nice breakdown. Mahomes is top 5 all time. Period. An absolutely phenomenal QB. Hopefully he's healthy when they come to town. Always fun to watch greatness. And send them packing with a loss. A lot of good QBs coming to town. Love it.

Reid is the HC and OC for starters; He has elevated every QB he's had by
quite a bit, without him they don't get there.
I stand by what I said and it's not that PMs sucks, I just don't feel he's elite.
It's my opinion, I don't care about individual awards - If I went by those then
Me3 was elite too.. Nah

I'm done with this .. No more derailing thread.
