Who would you sign right now with the available pool of players and our cap space?I'm curious as to why signings of obscure , low level players by the Hawks , get some members so excited . Raise the bar a little more for gawds sake .
No doubt. 21 days. Then the absolute freak out after every pick. The draft can't come soon enough
Truth is I’m not really expecting anything. It’s not a big deal to me, I was playing a part.10 bubble screens for 60 yards, (long of 14), in 8 games during 2023. 4 years ago his 40 yard time was 4.58. Small TE body, TE speed, TE hands, doesn't block, and he's coming off IR. Expectations should be low.
Yah…not willing to go out here and crucify a guy.Low risk…..
Probably low reward
I like the signing. He is like a RB, with his contact ballance, with run after the catch.
We just playing a game of perspectives because I see:Yah…not willing to go out here and crucify a guy.
Low risk…low reward.
If Metcalf goes down , who fills that spot ? Why not pick up a good WR , somewhere in the draft ?With this signing our WR room is quite packed, we truly wouldn't need to reach for WR in the draft.
Bobo!!!!!!!If Metcalf goes down , who fills that spot ? Why not pick up a good WR , somewhere in the draft ?
How many number one receivers do you want on a team? We already have 3 guys who either have been, currently are or will be in the future, number one receivers. Our number 3 is a first round draft pick in only his second year. WR is not a weakness. KR was interior OL is and defense still is. That’s where our draft should focus. If Metcalf goes down , who fills that spot ? Why not pick up a good WR , somewhere in the draft ?
I agree. I think part of the fun of off-season is contemplating the possibilities, no matter how improbable they might be.Who would you sign right now with the available pool of players and our cap space?
Hoping a guy we sign succeeds and discussing his positive attributes is far from being excited about signing.
Get that to rhyme and you're on your way to Nashville. And sometimes, one man's garbage is another man's trash.
And one man's junk pile is another man's scrap heap.
And one man's waste is another's man's filth.
And sometimes, one man's garbage is another man's wife.Get that to rhyme and you're on your way to Nashville.
Don't quit your day job.And sometimes, one man's garbage is another man's wife.
And one man's junk pile is another man's scrap wife.
And one man's waste is another's man's wife.
How’d I do?!
I'm not writing him off, but i'm not writing off the top 500 UDFAs that will be available after the Draft either. Shenault has at least produced something over his 4 NFL seasons history, but for the future i'd rather use the 90-man roster spot on a random UDFA.Truth is I’m not really expecting anything. It’s not a big deal to me, I was playing a part.
But it’s just silly to write someone off especially this early on, especially considering the investment is probably more of just an opportunity for the player whether he does something with it or not.
But again who knows maybe something just clicks with Shenault and he not only sticks but he’s productive.
