I'm not on the Darnold train either. But like I said in another thread, if it happens, it's not a bad trade off. Younger, a bit cheaper most likely and an extra third round pick for Geno is still a bit of a win in my book.

I agree. I’d rather go younger and cheaper but for the right price I still think it’s an upgrade.

Darnold was headed for a big pay day till his last two games. At that time I wanted nothing to do with signing him to a huge contract. At this point it sounds as if the market is pretty sour on him. So if its reasonable I have no problem signing him.

You people make me laugh. The same people screaming move on from Geno at all costs. Figure it out later. Are now not happy with who the rumored replacement is (whom is a lot younger and rumored a lot cheaper)

If nothing makes you happy go root for the browns or something. God damn

Sorry, not big on Sam Darnold, been through 4 teams in his young career, low completion % and too many INT's.
He will want too much $ which defeats the purpose, don't waste time & money.
Draft a dual threat guy in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th, roll with camp winner and be ready to go all in, in 26'.

Dude the same people complaining about egg prices a year ago aren’t any longer. It’s as if it was never about egg prices. Just like it was never about Geno or his replacement -

All tangible objects to project one’s insecurity and frustration in one’s own being

Now back to basics eh?

I don't think it's going to happen because were not paying a Ginger QB with a squirt gun for an arm $40m. I think they are hot for a QB in the draft that they think will be there at 18.

Curious why they care what color hair and skin tone he has? Or why you felt that relevant to share here and offend people?

I’m repeating what ALL of the nfl insiders are tweeting. They also say JS really loves a qb in this draft, maybe more than one but one for sure.

Geno wanted $45mil/ year. JS wasn’t going above $35. Raiders have a long term deal for Geno in place.

The Darnold contract looks like same deal for Geno 3/105 with outs after every year. Would likely only cost $20-$25 mil in 2025, again with outs.

That’s what I’ve been reading from the nfl insiders

Sam Darnold was being reviled as a wonder reclamation project in here in December when he whipped our butts.

Yeah he had a terrible playoff game. But now he sucks again?

Are we that bipolar in here??

I'm not team Sam, but can we be at least a bit consistent?

I like the “outs every year” thing.

Screw it..bring on Darnold and give us Dart.
