Does he have a good track record developing young QB? Can he make Howell into a star?
If you truly are being serious then I hope you're not getting your hopes up. I don't hear anyone else clamoring for Howell anymore than they were for Lock.

He has moved around a bunch - but in the NFL I think that is less concerning than the regular employment world.

Are his schemes predictable? The Hawks have suffered from being predictable for - well a long time.

Both Howell and Geno have one more year on their contract, both are looking for that next big long-term deal. We may save $$ this season by cutting Geno and starting Howell, but Howell will want big bucks if he performs at Darnold level in 2025.

Dot Net wouldn’t be dot net without it!

If Kubiak is it, I love it!

How dot net posters love and hate things, I also love that! Haahahahah

Let’s gooooo!!
Exactly. Def. not hating. I enjoy it. People are passionate about the team and what they want. It's fun.
To ME, it's the people magically becoming experts on extra draft pick and assistant coach. Entertaining. Not saying that people don't know a lot, but it just seems like they become experts. Pick the guy I want or you suck etc.

For the record, people here are a LOT more knowledgeable than the people that call into 710 sports radio. It's next level hilarious how delusional they are.
People on the Seahawks Instagram are laughable as well. Their lack of knowledge is maddening but they will comment and comment and comment on any Seahawks news and not know anything about the football operations…..

If your case is Darnold, sweet. I don't see that.

I'll reiterate from another post, Darnold was the 3rd pick in the draft. Howell was a 5th rd in a very bad class. He turned pro because a freshman was displacing him.

I don't hate it. I don't love it. If this comes to pass we are basically copying the rest of the division with the understudy as our lead. Watching the Vikes get Molly whopped that's what came to mind.

THe 14-3 Vikings got Molly whopped by an offense we are going to emulate? I’m cool with that.

As I said: "IF" Howell perform at Darnold level, which is unlikely, we will be wasting a season of he couldn't.

I don't hate it. Saints were KILLING it before injuries.

I don't know anything other than here/googling - but seems like the right pick.

I wanted to consider Fraley - but the never been an OC before thing gives me pause - separate from my man crush on DC.

Piss around waiting for the Lions, and you might lose this guy. I'd say if he seems right pull the trigger.
