I like it. He does a lot of play action which we need, works well with a running game and explosive passing game. Carr looked awesome with him as well before everyone got hurt
Yep I see it almost exactly like you do. If its Geno I think he helps him a ton and if its someone else I think it still helps.I have mixed feelings, but the majority of them are positive.
I am a little sad that we're sticking with a blocking scheme that heavily leans zone, but that's not as important as the overall offensive philosophy which I love.
We're going to see a lot more under center, a lot more play action, and cleaner zone rushes. Zach Charbonnet especially will benefit from this - he might start looking like a star.
This philosophy alone will take a ton of pressure off the OL and make their job easier. Kubiak in and of himself is an OL addition.
A sibling rivalry!I would be happy with this hire. Good coaching genes LOL. Niners just secured their Kubiak...let's go get ours.
I like your math.MM + KK = SB!
We could definitely do worse.
No, I expect Mike to use that as the final line in the press release.Let's hope that's not part of Mike's opening statement in the announcement press conference.
