Cool for those of us into the historic elements of the team, and a break from the fire sale hyperbolic threads.

Thanks for posting that. I had no idea that there was controversy or that the original logo is based on a specific mask.

I maintain the Seahawks logo is the most meaningful AND beautiful of any in the league. I also think our throwbacks are the best uni ever to appear on the field of play.
Cool to know that respect for the Native American culture was an important part of the design, despite the controversy, which seemed misguided

I remember a few years back the seahawks logo was called out as racist when the woke get rid of everything movement was getting some steam on sports stuff...if the the Chiefs fans can do a tomahawk chop/chant and keep their name i don't see how the seahawks need to be worried about this...Seminoles. blackhawks...Braves...are others.

As a NA I fully agree with objections that "Redskins" is/was a demeaning term, but never heard such accusations leveraged against the Seahawks logo. I spent significant time in the NW studying and practicing NWC art forms and admired the Seahawk's logo as an entirely appropriate mascot. I think the total marketing and infrastructural representation of our team is unsurpassed in all of sports.
