The Seahawks have a new offensive coordinator in Klint Kubiak, but their offensive fortunes aren't likely to change all that much if they don't get better offensive line play in 2025.

Well, it’s been about seven years since the last consistently good Seahawks offensive line so better late than never I guess.
I listened to the whole interview today and I think the initial reaction to it was overblown. Schneider pretty much admitted they blew it with development, scouting, and bad signings.
I think his quote about "not throwing money at issues" is being misunderstood. I think what John is actually trying to say is we know we are bad at it. We need to do the whole thing a lot better and give the line real infrastructure so you properly build it and it sustains. I think he knows they have to scout better. They have to draft better. They have to sign dudes better. Lastly, they need to develop better. He referenced the Eagles because they do all of the things I've mentioned.
Most fans are going to cling on to that quote but what John is probably telling us is that money doesn't always solve all of these problems. I don't think he is saying they won't spend on the right player.
It's a good start in my opinion for developing the O-line. They hired coaches that are aligned. Hopefully they will build an identity for the line and dudes start to gel. I also think it's hard to come back from this if it doesn't work. This is the first real cohesive offensive philosophy in a while under John Schneider. Proof is still in the pudding though.
